"Selamat tahun Baru" in malay, but as a muslim we should celebrate Maal Hijrah or 1 Muharram as our new year
To me new year eve is just a normal day, just a public holiday.
Bring my kid to hair saloon, repair their bicycle and wating for my uncle to repair my washing machine & TV
